Maextro is a Chinese premium electric vehicle brand created by Changan Automobile Group as part of its advanced new energy portfolio. The brand's first production model, the Maextro S800, is a large luxury electric sedan built on Changan's next generation EPA2 platform. Designed to rival global premium EVs such as the NIO ET9 and Mercedes EQS, the S800 features dual motor all wheel drive, an 800 volt high voltage system, and ultra fast charging capability that restores up to 300 kilometers of range in 10 minutes. It is expected to offer a total driving range exceeding 700 kilometers (CLTC) and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in approximately 3 seconds.
