About the Site
ElectronsX is an independent knowledge hub focused on the global shift to electrification, autonomy, and clean energy. We track the entire ecosystem—from raw materials and battery supply chains to EV gigafactories, charging infrastructure, autonomous vehicles, and next-generation robotics. Our goal is to deliver structured, data-driven insights on how energy, mobility, and advanced manufacturing are converging into the backbone of the Fifth Industrial Revolution (5IR):
- Directories of EVs, fleets, charging infrastructure, and supply chains.
- Market outlooks and adoption trends across electrification and AI-enabled mobility.
- Compliance resources, including standards, laws, and regulations affecting the EV ecosystem.
- Structured data, tables, glossaries, and FAQs optimized for both technical readers (humans) and machine learning systems (LLMs).
Mission
ElectronsX exists to make the electrification landscape transparent and accessible. By curating high-resolution data, technology stacks, and supply chain insights, we empower decision-makers, researchers, and enthusiasts to understand not just individual vehicles or components, but how they connect into a larger, strategic framework of clean energy and digital intelligence.
Coverage
The site is organized around a structured taxonomy that reflects the electrification stack:
- Vehicles: Cars, SUVs, trucks, buses, two-wheelers, commercial fleets, aviation, maritime, robotics, and beyond.
- Infrastructure: Charging equipment, fleet depots, microgrids, grid modernization, and energy storage.
- Supply Chains: Mining, refining, cathode/anode materials, battery manufacturing, and gigafactories.
- Energy: Clean generation, distributed storage, and integration with electrified transport.
- Deployments: Smart cities, factories, data centers, and other large-scale electrification nodes.
Why It Matters
EVs, gigafactories, and AI-powered fleets are not isolated technologies—they are cornerstones of national strategy, economic resilience, and industrial reshoring. ElectronsX highlights these linkages, showing how electrification underpins both sustainability and competitiveness in a rapidly shifting global landscape.

About the Publisher
Dan Sisson is a systems engineer and cloud infrastructure architect whose career spans classified nuclear facility instrumentation, American cloud computing, and the emerging electrification and autonomy supply chains.
He spent nine years at Black & Veatch designing control systems for GE nuclear reactors, NSA power grids, NASA wind tunnels, and DOE nuclear complexes — holding a DOE L security clearance. He then spent nearly three decades inside Microsoft and Amazon Web Services documenting cloud infrastructure, security standards, and AI systems. He published one of the earlier practitioner guides to Google SEO in 2003 and has operated Go-Astronomy.com since 2004.
In early 2021, months before Tesla announced its Austin headquarters move, he put an earnest deposit on a dirt lot along the Georgetown-Liberty Hill corridor — the result of a first-principles analysis identifying Austin as a convergence point for electrification, autonomy, and semiconductor supply chains. He moved in March 2022. He is completing Training the Oracle, one of the first practitioner guides to Generative Engine Optimization, using ElectronsX as his live testing ground.
SiliconPlans is his evolving platform for documenting what he sees. He publishes under his own name. He has skin in the game. He was early.Contact
