Top 10 Best-Selling BEVs in the U.S. - 2025
US BEV market data sourced from the Cox Automotive/Kelley Blue Book Q4 2025 EV Sales Report (published January 2026). Total US BEV sales in 2025 are down 2% from 2024. Tesla retained 46.2% market share by year-end despite a 7% volume decline. The Chevrolet Equinox EV was the standout non-Tesla success story, more than doubling 2024 volume to become the clear third-best-selling BEV in the US.

Top 10 Best-Selling BEVs in the World - 2025
The US market tells a different story than the global picture. Tesla's 46% US share far exceeds its ~12% global BEV share. The Chinese OEMs that dominate global volume (BYD, Geely, SAIC) have minimal US presence due to tariffs. Global BEV sales exceeded 14 million units in 2025 with China accounting for approximately 60% of volume.
Not just the best-selling EV, but the best-selling car of all for 2025.

Beyond specs and model lists, ElectronsX maintains EV-native datasets covering real-world ownership economics. These are the data resources that matter to fleet operators, buyers, and analysts - built from EV-specific data rather than adapted from ICE vehicle analytics:
Battery Replacement Cost Data - real-world battery replacement costs by make, model, and chemistry; the TCO data point most buyers cannot find elsewhere
EV Depreciation Data - EV-specific depreciation curves by segment and model; important for fleet TCO and residual value modeling
EV Charging Performance Data - real-world charging curve data by model; peak kW, 10-80% time, and degradation characteristics
