About Voyah
Voyah is the premium electric vehicle brand of Dongfeng Motor Corporation, one of China's largest and most established automotive groups. Introduced in 2020, Voyah represents Dongfeng's strategic move upmarket into the intelligent, luxury EV segment, blending advanced electrification with refined craftsmanship and digital connectivity. The brand's name, derived from "Voyage," reflects its mission to lead a new journey toward smart, sustainable mobility that combines emotional design with cutting-edge technology. Positioned alongside global premium brands, Voyah is a key component of Dongfeng's long-term transformation into a high-value, innovation-driven manufacturer.
Voyah's first model, the Free SUV, debuted as a performance-oriented electric crossover built on Dongfeng's high-end ESSA (Electric Smart Secure Architecture) platform. This modular platform supports both pure electric (BEV) and extended-range electric (EREV) configurations, providing flexibility for different market demands. The Free was followed by the Dreamer, a luxury MPV offering limo-level comfort, and the Zhuiguang sedan, a sleek executive fastback emphasizing aerodynamics and intelligent control. All models feature dual-motor AWD options, high-capacity lithium-ion battery packs, and intelligent energy management systems, achieving a balance between range, performance, and refinement.
At the heart of Voyah's technology stack is the Lanhai intelligent system, an integrated digital ecosystem that unites cockpit functions, ADAS (advanced driver-assistance systems), and cloud-based vehicle management. The system includes voice control, continuous OTA (over-the-air) software updates, and adaptive driving features powered by lidar, radar, and high-resolution cameras. Voyah's partnership network includes technology leaders such as Huawei for connectivity modules, CATL for batteries, and Horizon Robotics for AI processors, enabling the brand to deliver high levels of intelligence and safety performance comparable to leading Western EVs.
Voyah vehicles are produced at Dongfeng's Intelligent Manufacturing Base in Wuhan, a state-of-the-art facility with extensive automation, digital inspection, and green energy integration. The company places strong emphasis on premium design and sustainability, utilizing eco-friendly materials and quiet cabin engineering. As part of Dongfeng's globalization plan, Voyah began exporting to Europe in 2023, targeting markets such as Norway, Finland, and the Netherlands. With a growing lineup and a focus on intelligent luxury, Voyah is emerging as one of China's most credible premium EV brands—embodying the fusion of advanced engineering, digital sophistication, and refined design that defines the modern era of electrified mobility.
