Tesla is an American electric vehicle and clean energy company founded in 2003 in California by Martin Eberhard and Marc Tarpenning, later joined and led by Elon Musk, who transformed it into one of the most valuable and influential technology companies in the world. The Tesla Cybertruck, unveiled in 2019, represents the company's most radical design statement—a stainless steel, exoskeleton based pickup engineered for strength, durability, and all electric torque performance. Built at Gigafactory Texas near Austin, the Cybertruck introduces a new structural battery pack, steer by wire control, and rear wheel steering, combining utility and futuristic aesthetics with advanced manufacturing methods such as giga casting. Tesla's entry into the heavy transport sector came with the launch of the Tesla Semi, a fully electric Class 8 truck designed for freight and logistics applications. The Semi features tri motor drive units, regenerative braking, and high energy battery systems capable of up to 500 miles of range, reducing both operating costs and emissions for long haul fleets.

Tesla's production and innovation footprint spans multiple continents through its network of Gigafactories, including Gigafactory Texas, Gigafactory Nevada, Gigafactory Shanghai, Gigafactory Berlin, and Gigafactory Mexico under development. These facilities integrate large scale battery manufacturing, vehicle assembly, and power electronics production within vertically integrated, digitally managed environments. Tesla also manufactures Megapack and Powerwall energy storage systems, as well as solar roofs, forming a complete renewable energy ecosystem. At the technological core of Tesla's vehicles lies its in house AI and computing infrastructure, powered by its custom Dojo supercomputer, which trains neural networks for Full Self Driving (FSD) and fleet based intelligence.
