About the Sehol brand
Sehol is a Chinese automobile brand under the JAC Group (Jianghuai Automobile Co.), headquartered in Hefei, Anhui Province. Originally launched in 2018 as a joint venture between JAC and the Volkswagen Group, the Sehol brand (initially known as SOL) was created to serve as the shared platform for the partners' new energy vehicle (NEV) strategy. While Volkswagen has since shifted focus to its independent Volkswagen Anhui operations, Sehol continues under JAC as a dedicated sub-brand for affordable, design-forward electric and hybrid vehicles.
