Finding

BYD units make nearly every layer of the Han L, and the one foreign part found is the NVIDIA ADAS chip

The ring holds 18 supplier rows across 11 layers: 10 in-house, zero sole source, 17 China-supplied and five with the supplier not disclosed.

The most vertically integrated ring in the set: cells, pack, BMS, motors, 1,500 V SiC chips, onboard charger, software, megawatt chargers and assembly are all BYD units (FinDreams Battery, FinDreams Powertrain, BYD Semiconductor, BYD Auto). The only non-Chinese part found is the NVIDIA Drive Orin X ADAS chip, fabbed by Samsung in Korea; the roof lidar is Hesai. Upstream materials (LFP cathode, graphite, SiC substrate, magnets) are undisclosed but sourced in China by default.

The ring

Who supplies each layer

In-house rows first in each layer, then sole, primary, second and multi-source suppliers. The left border shows the supplier country: red China, gold Japan, Korea or Taiwan, blue the US and Europe, gray not disclosed. Confidence: confirmed (company or filing), reported (credible press), inferred (deduced, not disclosed).
