About the Neta brand

Neta is a Chinese electric vehicle brand owned by Hozon Auto, headquartered in Tongxiang, Zhejiang Province. Founded in 2014, Neta is one of China's leading new-generation EV startups, positioned in the affordable-to-mid premium segment with a focus on smart connectivity, autonomous driving, and youth-oriented design. The brand's name, inspired by the mythological figure Nezha, symbolizes innovation, rebellion, and technological self-confidence- aligning with its goal of making intelligent EVs accessible to a broader audience.

Neta's product lineup spans compact sedans, crossovers, and SUVs, built on Hozon's dedicated HPA (Hozon Platform Architecture) and the more advanced Shanhai Platform for high-performance and long-range BEVs. Key models include the Neta V, a best-selling small crossover; the Neta U-II, a compact SUV; and the Neta S, a sleek electric fastback sedan offering up to 715 kilometers of range (CLTC). The brand's latest model, the Neta GT, introduces an all-electric two-door sports coupe aimed at younger consumers seeking performance with style.

The Neta S and GT models leverage the Shanhai architecture with 800-volt high-voltage systems, silicon carbide inverters, and advanced autonomous driving capability powered by dual NVIDIA Orin-X chips. They also integrate high-efficiency heat pumps, LiDAR-based driver assistance, and continuous over-the-air software updates. Neta's software ecosystem, branded as Neta Pilot, provides Level 2+ intelligent driving assistance, voice control, and personalized cockpit experiences through an AI-based interface.

Neta's manufacturing operations are based at its Yichun and Tongxiang plants, both of which are highly automated and designed for flexible EV production. The company also operates R&D centers in Shanghai, Beijing, and Silicon Valley, enabling global collaboration on intelligent systems and next-generation energy storage technologies. Neta uses CATL battery packs in many of its vehicles, with recent models offering up to 150 kWh capacity options and solid-state battery development underway.

International expansion has become a major pillar of Neta's growth strategy. The brand has entered markets in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Europe, beginning with the Neta V and Neta U. Neta's long-term plan is to position itself as a global smart EV brand with localized manufacturing and R&D hubs outside China by 2027.
